So much talent, all under one roof....

(Left) Well, it`s been a while since KazzieWazzie (black&white) sent his folks a B&B postcard from Canada... Kamikaze just wanted to pass on a little note to tell them that he`s been busy honing his climbing, tracking and hunting  skills..... He tries to put in at least an hour a day, to keep himself from getting rusty...

 (Right) Then of course, he likes to round out his day with his other passion.... science!  Yes, that may surprise you.... but this handsome little lad has a keen nose and eye for detail.... hmm,  lets see... it looks like some prehistoric large cat breed,  but it has characteristics that are in line with the reptilan race although, upon first touch, it acts more like one of those Galapigos turtles... specimen 212, I`m thinking.... it pretends that I don`t exist..... What do you make of that Dar!  Is it like anything that you have ever seen!!!
(Left) A bit less adventurous but just as charming is our handsome boy Timmy (dark tabby).... He arrived earlier this week with his sister Maggie... You don`t usually hear him but if you`re very quiet, you will catch a dark flash of fur scampering around, usually behind you, dodging from one play structure hide out to the next.  He`s very sweet and gentle...

 (Right) Lucky for me that I had the camera handy when our gorgeous girl Holly (black) descended from her prized Phone Booth and found a few colorful pipe cleaners to twirl, like batons, between her hooky little claws.... She had pretty good control too... Kinda like watching one of those pro basket ball players spin the ball in the air, without letting it fall to the ground... She was gracious enough to take a 5 minute break for a little cameo shot.... You too cute HollyWolly!

(Right) As I type this, I have our adorable girl Sasha (grey&white) settling down on the black entry chair beside me.... She`s having so much fun meeting everyone that comes in and saying her `Good bye`s to all of her furry friends that are being picked up... She`ll be with us through Thanksgiving, so will get to meet a ton of new people next week... She never really tires of hearing about `What a beauty` she is.... Yes, you are!

Socializing, anyone!

(Left) Orange all around... Everybody goes  on tour in the morning... Dimitri (loft) gives me his usual nod that he's ready for his wet food by awakening from his slumber, up on his favorite loft beds.  Our gorgeous Rhuby (ledge) has another couple of hours left in her, until she's ready to take her mid morning snooze... That's our handsome newbie Caramel (floor) again... He just likes to be where ever the 2 leggeds are at... He moves around a lot in the morning because I do!

 (Right & Below) More crazy Alice (dark tabby/white) pictures.. Our adorable little schmoozie girl just returned home again yesterday... She gives everybody her 'lets play' look, even if you so much as take a quick glance at her... she's down... She's so much fun. 

 (Left) Yes, that's right, you guessed it!  THIS is the pose!  The opened mouth is the 'Well, whatcha waiting for!!!  ChopChop!!!

 (Right) Our gorgeous girls Mocha (muted torti) and Maggie (dark tabby) got acquainted yesterday shortly after Maggie and Timmy, her very shy brother, arrived... As you see, Maggie tends towards the 'extrovert' personality type... Mocha can be a bit shy when you first meet her but she too loves human contact.

(Left) These kitties just love big wide open windows... Paris (dark tabby/plane) and Percy (dark tabby/rear) can sit for hours on their high perches, swinging their heads back and forth, as they keep track of the goings-on outside in the parking lot.  Ohh, so many noises and even birds stopping by, on the window ledge...

Autumn Tuesday...

(Left) I loved this pic of Alley (dark tabby)... 'The Look'.... She's such a gorgeous little girl.  She and her sister Naomi are doing great.  I finally managed to coax the last of her tufts of matts out of her pint sized little fur coat... She's been soaking up the gorgeous sunny afternoons that we've had for the past week.... Just warm enough to sit in front of the windows... but, no need for sunscreen!

 (Right) You guessed it!  More playful energy in this mostly white boy, with a few faint grey stripes on his forhead.... Felix N is a charmer.  He had an awesome time playing with Alice since the weekend.  This boy loves to move!  He's not often staying in one spot for very long.  He's social and lively...He's also getting on real well with BigBird1..... He sends out a big Hiya to his mom....

(Left) More warm wishes for moms... Gingko Maria (black) just looked way too relaxed all stretched out on her big favorite pillow when I returned after lunch today.... I took a few pics of her.. in some of them, you can see her 'one eye half open, pretending to be asleep' pose... You too funny GingkoBear!  She's settled right in and enjoying her stay...

 (Right) This 'tractor engine' is fast becoming another of Janey's (dark tabby) cherished snoozin' spots... This adorable girl has spent quite a few weeks with us this past summer... She's met so many new friends and acquaintances.... She's looking forward to seeing her mom again next week...

(Left) Wow!  I thought I was quite flexible!  I'd like to find out Rhuby's (orange tabby) secret... Is it yoga, zumba, tai chi ?!?  How does she do that 'elastic spine thing' that she likes to do so often?  This gorgeous little Miss returned again yesterday for a short visit... and we'll see her again in a couple of weeks... She's always a pleasure to be around..

Thank God it's Furry Friday!

 (Left) Our handsome big boy Casey (black/white) arrived again this morning... He had a big car ride behind him once he arrived and was happy to just find his favorite bunk bed, just where he left it, a few short weeks ago... Our charmer Cid (dark tabby) was already snuggled into his snoozin spot when Casey arrived...Time for doedoes!

 (Right) Our adorable Dimitri (orange tabby) always thinks it's time for snoozin'... how many times have I snapped him up, while passed out on his favored cat beds... that's 'beds' x 3, not just one... he moves around between all 3 of these cat sized beds, up on the loft.  Dimikins will be staying on for a couple more weeks... He's doing fab... as usual!

 (Left) Lots of orange kitties and black cats... hmm, I guess Halloween is coming!  This handsome big brewster is Felix S. .. not to be confused with Felix N, who arrived a short time ago, for his first visit.  Felix S looks like an adorable mini black bear... He's on the independant side, mostly from shyness... He's actually very gentle.

 (Right) Well, I didn't have the camera upstairs this morning when I caught this sight with my eyes... luckily Caramel (orange tabby) and Paris (torbi) stayed put long enough for me to go grab the camera and bring it back upstairs.... My first thought was 'Oh, they'll never believe this!!'.... These 2, along with Paris' sister Mocha, are going to be step-siblings, once they all return to the same home next week.... Everyone was concerned about how well they were gonna get on together... I think the proof is in the puddin'!  as they say!

(Left) At the same time, but in the other group room, was our girl Mocha (muted tortoise shell/top) hangin' out with out girl Whippet (white/dark tabby/lower)... It must be Friday... everybody is already in a laid back, social mood.. That bodes very well for an incredibly fun weekend!  We hope that yours is as good!

When old friends stop by...

(Left) All of my regular readers will recognize our little Chouie (orange/white tabby), especially when I remind them that this is mister chatty pants... and of course, his classic positioning on the rainbow is further proof of who this handsome little guy is... We'll see Choufleur a couple more times before the year is out... Oh my goodness!   The year is fast coming to a close... Unbelievable really!

(Right) That last pic of Batman (fawn tabby) didn't really identify him, what with being a side shot and all.. How 'bout this one!  Mr. Social butterfly here is scheduled to return home this week already.  He had fun with Peppy and Miloshka and now Percy... We look forward to seeing him again.  He had a great time.

(Left) Yes, more classic kitties in classic poses... Peppy (black/white) has had many short weekender visits to the B&B this summer.  She just returned home yesterday.  Things are looking good for her potentially getting a new sibling... We'll keep our fingers and toes crossed with her.

 (Right) This handsome lad returned again this morning... This charmer is familiar with every nook and cranny of the B&B... I caught him in the rocket this afternoon watching BigBird2 through one of the side windows.... If you enlarge the pic you will see bigbird.... He kept turning himself upside down for Percy & the camera... ever the showman....

(Below) Another familiar face.. Our adorable girl Holly (black) also returned this morning.. I placed her in her favorite treehouse when she arrived and found her this afternoon all curled up in her favorite phone booth... You don't have to look too far for her if you can't see her... she's a creature of habits...

Sunshine and colorful leaves.....

(Left) Our gorgeous girl Gingko Maria (black) got all snuggly on Mr. Cow's soft, furry back... she couldn't get him to gallop though. 'I guess they are different from horses afterall'...  She's doing great and sends out a big Hiya to her mom and family. 

(Right) Mr. TobTob (grey/white) looks like he's scaling a wall here... kinda like Spiderman, but he's not.. He was rolling around on the floor yesterday morning being all hamm-y for me and the camera... Still makes for a pretty cute pic... Tobias is scheduled to return home later today.  I'm gonna miss this little purr-machine...

(Left) Oh, Hi Cleo (dark tabby)... This adorable girl has only been here since the weekend and was quick to settle back into her favorite Kitty Cab... She's having another extended holiday at the B&B this Autumn.  She's very pleased with the sunny afternoons that we've been having... no need to change locations or park elsewhere... in front of the big sunny windows, is just right!

(Right) My little beauty JanieBeans (dark tabby) arrived this week for another long-ish stay.  It's shaping up to be another Dark Tabbyland week around here... Jane & BigBird1... BigBird1 and Jane...Hmm, there seems to be a real theme developing there.... She's doing great!

(Left) Another little cutie... WhippiWhippet (white/dark tabby)...(Yes, another dark tabby)... just arrived last week too...She's been in many times over the past couple of years.. She loves her treehouses... each visit she decides upon and settles into a new one, of her choice... Whippet is liking the fact that it's not crazy busy here this trip... just a nice relaxing pace...
