(Left) It's hard to know if Alley (tortoise shell) is gazing up at BigBird2 or at Buddy (black/white)...Alley, or Miss Toes, as I sometimes refer to her....Oh, hang on a sec! she also gets called Squeaky....(her meow is more like a squeak than a cat sound.... it could even pass for a lamb's baaa!).... and her sister Storm will be going back home next week. We had a good long visit this summer. I know that they're getting excited about seeing their mom again. Buddy and his sister Princess are brushing up on their Italian... they're gonna want to follow all of the conversation when their family returns...
(Right) Another Minou.... This handsome Minou (dark tabby/white) arrived this week. We haven't seen him since last year. He's a friendly little head butt-er.... He loves to twist his head sideways and nudge everything that's on his path, on his way over to see you. He adjusted quickly to all of his new friends... As you can tell, our charmer Legolas is very social too...
(Left) Our little beauty Sookie (dark tabby) has been a challenge to get a good picture of.... She's such a curious little Miss... she'll get busy with doing or looking at something or someone, with the head moving about, as she keeps track of the action... then, sure enough, she's off again to another point of interest.... I think we should fit her for a pair of caramel colored runnng shoes.. not that her black & brown striped ones aren't working just fine...
(Right) Our cutie Sylvia (grey/white tabby) has become more laid back as her vacation continues.... She's known to have an independant and wild streak about her.... she's lost a lot of that since she was a kitten.. She's darn near domesticated now! I know, that might be a bad word in 'Sylvia Land' but I'm sure enjoying getting to play with her this visit. She and her brother Ebony are both doing great.
(Left) Our gorgeous girl Sasha (grey/white tabby) had a short vacation with us this past week. She spent most of her days strolling about the hallways and playing with various cats, behind the door, to the 2nd floor..... Sweetie and Buddy were often on the other side of the door with their mice pucks and pipe cleaners in hand.... She'd receive them on the hallway side of the door and shoot it back.... It's no wonder that we'd find a stash of cat toys on both sides of the door each morning.... Kinda like 'street hockey' but indoors and with mice....
